Former Site of the Cadre Brigade of the General Detachment of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army
The Former Site of the Cadre Brigade of the General Detachment of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army is a cultural relic protection unit of Xinjiang.
The Former Site of the Cadre Brigade of the General Detachment of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army is located at No. 37 Xihou Street, Tianshan District, Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It was reconstructed in the original style of the former Medical and Communications Squad of the General Detachment of the West Route Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army (No. 58 Xihou Street). The site officially opened to the public on June 30, 2001. The exhibition hall is composed of a courtyard surrounded by 17 rooms, displaying nearly 200 historical photos as well as 10 artifacts, including weapons, daily necessities, and books used by the officers and soldiers of the Left Column of the West Route Army.
