Hanqigou
Hanqigou is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
Guide: Hanqigou is located in the northern foothills of the Tomurti Mountain, 20 kilometers east of Baishitou. Here, ancient trees tower overhead, vegetation thrives, and mountain springs gush forth. The waters from three mountain valleys converge and flow southward along the river valley, surging with great force. Even during the hot summer months, the river water remains icy cold, hence the name. Introduction: Hanqigou sits at an altitude of 2,200 meters and extends about ten kilometers deep. The mountains are not high but steep, the forests lush and tranquil, combining natural beauty with pristine wilderness. Here, you can enjoy the sight of pine waves, take in the scenery of alpine meadow pastures, and experience the glacial landform landscape.
Hanqigou is a national AAA-level scenic area and one of the attractions within the Tianshan Mountain Scenic Zone. The temperature here is about 30 degrees lower than in other areas, so please dress warmly and stay protected against the cold.
