Introduction: The Kanas River is a major tributary of the Burqin River, with its source originating from Kanas Lake. The lake water cascades down, winding through the valley and forming stunning bends and riverbanks such as the Sleeping Dragon Bay and Moon Bay. From the southern outlet of Kanas Lake downstream to Duck Swamp Lake, the river is filled with large rocks, has rapid currents, and splashing waves. From Duck Swamp Lake to Sleeping Dragon Bay, the river widens, the flow slows, and the riverbanks are covered in lush green grass, flanked by dense forests on both sides.
