Nisantasi has long been known as the “Champs-Élysées of Istanbul.” Over time, boutiques opened by ladies of high society have gradually been replaced by flagship stores of international luxury and designer brands. Among them, Abdi İpekçi Caddesi is the Avenue Montaigne of this Champs-Élysées. This tree-lined, straight street is Istanbul’s first shopping street, lined with brands like Louis Vuitton, Christian Louboutin, and Gucci. Naturally, the area is highly competitive in the “fashion jungle,” and A46 has emerged within this battleground of style.

In bright display windows, models in glamorous gowns strike elegant poses, showcasing unique designs and exquisite fabrics. Just as you’re mesmerized, another collection catches your eye — bold patterns, strong design elements, and a streetwise vibe. Step inside, and surprises await: skulls wearing crowns are printed on T-shirts adorned with sequined ruffles, transforming into cool yet sweet mini dresses, flowing and fitted tunics, and even a series of necklaces and bracelets with a hint of hip-hop attitude and playful charm.

Upon closer inspection, the details on the clothing are even more stunning — intricate embroidery decorates sleeves, collars, hems, and printed trims. The same style is brought to full fruition in evening wear: embroidery, rhinestones, sequins, tassels, bead flowers, paired with luxurious French lace, silk, brocade, and taffeta, creating an image of sensuality with elegance. A46 is actually the name of the boutique, derived from its former address. Founded in 1999 by Tuvana B. Demir, it originally started as a select shop importing international brand clothing and accessories. Because it quickly gained popularity among local celebrities and singers, Tuvana, who graduated from Mimar Sinan University with a degree in fashion, began designing pieces exclusively for these personalities. After several years of building a collection, Tuvana and her husband Selim Demir launched their own brand under their names in 2005. Focusing on evening and formal dresses, the Tuvana brand uses vibrant jewels paired with luxurious fabrics. The bold colors and unique creativity left a deep impression, and within a very short time, it took the world by storm. Tuvana became the first Turkish designer to hold an exhibition in Paris, with a global presence in over 100 locations, including every country in the Middle East.

This success inspired Tuvana to extend her creativity even further. Thus was born the Tutti brand, which transitions from the runway to everyday life. Drawing inspiration from rainbows, butterflies, bows, and bohemian elements, Tutti features eye-catching colors and unconventional prints, creating a distinctive sense of fashion.
