"Ashan Deer King" Elk Farm

Opened on August 8, 2008, the elk farm is situated in the Pingyuan Forest Farm of Burqin County. It was invested in and constructed by Zhejiang businessmen Luo Guoguang and Luo Zengmi. The project occupies a land area of 20,000 square meters, with a total investment of 9 million yuan. To date, 6.7 million yuan has been invested, including the purchase of 200 elks. The site includes an elk farm, deer product processing workshops, a deer product exhibition and sales room, and a specialty deer product hotel, among other related facilities. The base is primarily engaged in elk farming and the deep processing of a series of deer products. It is also open to tourists, offering activities such as sightseeing, photography, travel shopping, and specialty dining.

The Deer King Hotel is located within the farm and features 12 themed private dining rooms, with a capacity to accommodate 200 diners at once. The hotel mainly serves dishes made from its own elk meat as well as various local specialty cuisines. The "Ashan Deer King" Elk Farm is a significant achievement of Burqin County’s investment attraction efforts, adding a new highlight to the county's agro-pastoral tourism offerings.
