Agonggaiti Grassland Nomadic Culture Park
Agonggaiti Grassland Nomadic Culture Park
Agonggaiti Grassland is situated beside the road at the 96-kilometer mark from Burqin County to Kanas Scenic Area and serves as the spring and autumn pasture of Yegezituobie Township in Burqin County. The area is surrounded by mountains on all sides, has flat terrain, and boasts abundant vegetation, forming a central basin. “Agonggaiti,” which means “a place bathed in sunlight” in Mongolian, combines its uniquely advantageous geographical location and natural scenery with the region’s pristine ethnic culture and cultural landscapes, attracting visitors passing through.
Agonggaiti Grassland Nomadic Culture Park is one of the scenic spots along the Kanas route. This cultural park is a leisure destination that integrates grassland nomadic culture with Kazakh folklore. It showcases the customs and traditions of a northern horse-riding ethnic group, condenses the essence of grassland culture, and offers visitors the chance to enjoy ethnic song and dance, sample local cuisine, participate in recreational activities, explore historical relics, engage in traditional sports, and fully immerse themselves in the rich Kazakh culture and the profound heritage of grassland civilization while admiring the beautiful grassland scenery.
