Tasti Scenic Area

The Tasti Scenic Area is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tasti Scenic Area is situated in the southern part of Yumin County, within the Barluk Mountains. The Tasti River runs from east to west through the area, approximately 40 kilometers from the county town, and can be reached via a straightforward road. The scenic area primarily unfolds along the Tasti River and its tributaries. The name "Tasti" has a longstanding origin, derived from the Kazakh language, meaning a riverbed abundant with pebbles. The mountains on both sides of the valley are steep, with slopes covered in poplar and pine trees, while the shady slopes are mostly pine-covered, with the forest floor either green or densely overgrown with shrubs.
