On November 1, 2014, the Subaru "31 Forest Star Journey" event came to the beautiful city of Kunming. Here, Subaru led customers into the Tuzu Dadieshui Forest Park in Fumin County. This event was a large-scale initiative launched by Subaru (China) Co., Ltd. based on its "Subaru Forest Ecological Conservation Project" to promote the concept of forest ecological protection. The Kunming stop was promoted by Subaru's Kunming dealer, "Yunnan Huadong Auto Sales Co., Ltd.," attracting nearly 100 Subaru owners and invited guests from the Yunnan region. At 9 a.m., under the organization of the Subaru dealer, nearly 100 customers gathered at the 4S store. After a brief opening speech, everyone boarded the buses one after another. It’s worth mentioning that many Subaru owners drove their own Subaru vehicles to join the convoy, making the day’s fleet particularly spectacular. Then, at the organizer’s signal, the entire convoy set off grandly. The convoy consisted of 13 Subaru vehicles and 2 buses. Under the guidance of the lead vehicle, the convoy drove in an orderly formation, resembling a long dragon winding through the mountains from a distance. Along the way, the magnificent scenery outside the windows and the cheerful laughter inside the vehicles made the journey enjoyable, and soon the convoy arrived at the destination.
On the weekend, the sunny weather at Fumin Douzui Dadieshui Forest Park, following a week of rain, made the Subaru customers feel as if they had entered a giant natural oxygen bar, with the park’s forest coverage exceeding 98%. For the Subaru customers, who were able to completely escape the “concrete jungle of urban life,” it was an incredible sense of happiness. While the Subaru customers immersed themselves in nature and enjoyed the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the organizers also specially arranged ethnic cuisine accompanied by Yi ethnic song and dance performances. Yi dancers even led all the customers onto the lawn after the meal to dance together, also warming up for the afternoon activities. Subsequently, the forest hiking treasure hunt and green environmental signage activities, in line with the theme of Subaru’s "31 Forest Star Journey," commenced. Everyone, led by guides, ventured into the forest and actively completed the green environmental tasks assigned by the organizers. Through this experience-based journey, customers enjoyed an environmentally friendly, healthy, and fulfilling weekend.
This year marks the second season of Subaru’s "31 Forest Star Journey." The "31 Forests"—Subaru Forest Ecological Conservation Project was jointly initiated by Subaru (China) Co., Ltd. and the China Wildlife Conservation Association under the National Forestry Administration, focusing primarily on China’s natural ecology and forest conservation. In this project, Subaru has named and adopted ecological protection forests in 31 national nature reserves across the country, donating funds and 31 Forester vehicles to these reserves for forest protection. At the same time, Subaru also enables vehicle owners to directly participate in ecological conservation activities through events like the "31 Forest Star Journey." The event also helps more Subaru drivers realize their dreams of green travel, making a tangible contribution to promoting the concept of forest ecological protection and supporting China’s ecological conservation efforts. During the second season of the "31 Forest Star Journey," a total of 3 million yuan in travel funds were established, offered in the form of 2,000-yuan "Travel Cards" for consumers to share, in gratitude for their support of China’s forest ecological conservation initiatives and to encourage more vehicle owners to participate in travel.
