On November 1, 2014, Subaru's "31 Forests Star Journey" event arrived in the beautiful city of Kunming. There, Subaru led customers to the Tuzu Dadie Waterfall Forest Park in Fumin County. This event was a large-scale activity launched by Subaru (China) Co., Ltd. under its "Subaru Forest Ecological Protection Project" to promote the concept of forest ecological conservation. The Kunming stop was promoted by Subaru's authorized dealer in Kunming, "Yunnan Huadong Auto Sales Co., Ltd.", attracting nearly a hundred Subaru owners and invited guests from the Yunnan region to participate. At 9:00 AM, under the organization of the Subaru dealer, nearly a hundred customers gathered at the 4S store. After a brief opening speech, everyone boarded the buses one after another. It’s worth mentioning that many Subaru owners drove their own Subaru vehicles to join the convoy, making the day’s vehicle procession particularly spectacular. Then, with the signal from the organizers, the entire convoy set off in grand style. The convoy consisted of 13 Subaru vehicles and 2 buses. The fleet traveled in an orderly formation under the guidance of the lead vehicle, resembling a long dragon winding through the mountains from a distance. Along the way, the breathtaking scenery outside the windows and the cheerful laughter inside the vehicles quickly brought the convoy to its destination.
This year marks the second season of Subaru’s "31 Forests Star Journey." The "31 Forests" – Subaru Forest Ecological Protection Project was jointly initiated by Subaru (China) Co., Ltd. and the China Wildlife Conservation Association, a subordinate organization of the State Forestry Administration, focusing on the protection of China’s natural ecology and forests. In this project, Subaru has adopted and named 31 ecological conservation forests within national nature reserves across China, while also donating funds and 31 Forester vehicles to these reserves for forest protection purposes. At the same time, through activities such as the "31 Forests Star Journey," Subaru enables vehicle owners to directly participate in ecological conservation efforts. The campaign also helps more Subaru drivers realize their dreams of green travel and makes a tangible contribution to promoting the concept of forest ecological protection and supporting China’s ecological conservation efforts. During the second season of the "31 Forests Star Journey," a total travel fund worth 3 million yuan was established, distributed in the form of 2,000-yuan "Travel Cards" to consumers, in appreciation of their support for China’s forest ecological protection initiatives and to encourage more vehicle owners to take part in travel adventures.
