Taheman Hot Spring Wellness & Entertainment City is situated on the Hot Spring Mountain northwest of Muztagh Ata Peak, 24 kilometers from the county town and 4 kilometers from National Highway 314, at an altitude of 3,200 meters. The spring originates from the bottom of a rock fracture layer in the southwestern part of the Feiyemukewu Mountain in the Kabixin Gorge. It is embraced by high mountains of varying sizes on the south, north, and west. The gorge stretches 5,000 meters from east to west and 1,500 meters from north to south, and has been designated as a provincial-level hot spring wellness & entertainment city.

There are two springs here, with visible rising mist and the scent of sulfur. According to Tajik herders, the spring has only been used by people for about 200 years, with the ruins of an old "earthen yurt" serving as evidence. In the early days, wooden lattice beds were placed over the spring openings, and bathers would lie on them to enjoy steam baths. The water temperature can exceed 80°C, capable of boiling an egg in 15 minutes, much like boiling water on the Pamir Plateau. About 500 meters southwest and west of the spring lies the Jade Eye Spring, which provides drinkable water.

This spring water, tested by the "Hygiene Institute of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences," has a pH value of 7.5, classifying it as weak alkaline water. It has negative hardness, no sodium salt content, and contains 23 types of minerals including sulfur, phosphorus, calcium, fluorine, manganese, magnesium, iron, and potassium. Clinical trials have shown it can treat skin itching, psoriasis, chronic urticaria, amenorrhea and irregular menstruation caused by fallopian tube inflammation in women, bruises, soreness and blood stasis, lumbar - leg pain, arthritis, acid reflux, stomachache, diabetes, coronary heart disease, as well as aid digestion, reduce inflammation, and when used for gargling, can treat cavities. The daily flow of this spring water exceeds 200 tons, with a flow rate of 2.2 – 3 meters per second.

Once upon a time, the Pamir Plateau was barren and bitter, with no signs of life, only this cold and cruel iceberg and the desolate Gobi Desert. On the "Father of Ice Mountains," Muztagh Ata Peak, there lived a beautiful and kind - hearted fairy who was in charge of the joys and sorrows of all beings on earth. She was accompanied by a vigorous divine eagle. One day, while the divine eagle was carrying the fairy on a tour of the world, a group of people came from the place where the sun rises. They were the hard - working and brave Tajiks. The arrival of the Tajiks brought vitality to the lonely and desolate plateau. The Tajiks raised cattle and sheep, cut through mountains to open up fields, and dredged water sources, turning this barren land into a scene of peace and joy filled with singing and dancing. Due to the harsh climate, the Tajiks, who worked in the bitter cold and snow all day long, all suffered from arthritis and rheumatism, but had nowhere to seek medical treatment or medicine. When the fairy learned about this, she rode the divine eagle and roamed the plateau, searching for herbs to treat these diseases. After 81 days of going through wind and rain, she still found nothing, and the fairy shed sad tears. One day, when the Jade Emperor was handling affairs in the Lingxiao Palace, a puff of air suddenly drifted into the immortal palace. He calculated with his fingers and learned the whole story. He then sent down the Goddess of Mercy, who gave the fairy some leaves from the celestial branch in her precious bottle. With this precious gift, the fairy's sad tears turned into joyful ones. She dipped the leaves in her happy tears and sprinkled them onto the earth. Where the fairy's tears fell on the mountain peaks, the rocks "rumbled" and cracked into pieces, a white vapor rose into the sky, and two hot springs gushed out with clear warm streams. These are the existing Taheman Hot Springs. Since then, the Tajiks have often bathed here and are no longer tormented by illnesses.
