The Temple of the Queen Mother of the West is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Temple of the Queen Mother of the West was first built during the Yuan Dynasty, boasting a history of 800 years. It has undergone three renovations in history, with the last major destruction occurring in 1932. It is one of China’s renowned Taoist temples.

In April 1999, the temple was rebuilt on its original site. The reconstructed Temple of the Queen Mother of the West largely retains the architectural style of the original structure. Covering an area of over 2,000 square meters with a building area of 429 square meters, it is located on the eastern shore of Heaven Lake and is one of its key scenic spots. As it enshrines the Goddess Mother (Queen Mother of the West), it is also known as the “Goddess Temple.”
