Desert International Golf Course is a national AA-level scenic spot. Located southeast of Karamay city center and on the west side of Yingbin Road, it is the city's first international-standard golf course. The course opened on October 1, 2003. Covering an area of 1 square kilometer, it is an international-standard 18-hole, 72-par course with a total fairway length of 6.52 kilometers. It features 13 artificial lakes, covering a water area of 86,666 square meters with a water storage capacity of 200,000 cubic meters. The course includes a 9-hole floodlit course, a floodlit driving range, and a Japanese-style international-standard clubhouse. The course employs environmentally friendly wastewater recycling technology for green space irrigation and uses premium Canadian grass species that are cold-resistant and drought-resistant, ensuring year-round greenery. It is not only a high-end, fashionable sport offering greenery, oxygen, sunshine, friendship, and health, but also allows you to enjoy the unique natural scenery of the desert, lakes, withered trees, and green fields.
