Ningxia Chuan Folk Culture Park is a National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction and a Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spot.

A National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base, National AAAA-level Tourist Attraction, National Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spot, and one of the New Ten Scenic Spots of Ningxia — Ningxia Chuan Folk Culture Park is located in Najiayi Village, a renowned town in Ningxia with a long historical and cultural heritage. The scenic area currently features well-equipped service facilities including the Grand Unity Square, the Main Entrance Gate, the Fountain Square, the Folk Village, the Golden Ceremonial Hall, the Performance Hall, the Catering Center, and the Najia Ancient Street, which can accommodate tens of thousands of people participating in various cultural and recreational activities simultaneously. Main Entrance Gate, Grand Unity Square, and Fountain Square

With a gentle breeze blowing, the pure white color against the blue sky and clear water forms the main visual theme of Ningxia Chuan Folk Culture Park; geometric and floral-patterned decorations become the most enchanting musical notes. First catching your eye is the 38-meter-high Main Entrance Gate, flanked by a 206-meter-long corridor composed of 40 sets of uniquely shaped architectural reliefs. The grand and majestic atmosphere and the meticulous attention to detail are perfectly combined here. The square in front of the gate is a performance venue that can accommodate 20,000 people. In summer, it becomes a sea of songs and a world of dance. Behind the gate lies the 6,400-square-meter Fountain Square, with a large 2,100-square-meter mirror-like pool at its center, equipped with a musical fountain. When still, the pool acts like a giant mirror, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and buildings in stunning beauty; when active, the fountain dances gracefully to the tunes of melodious music, embodying the harmony of “man and nature” with liveliness and elegance.

Golden Ceremonial Hall

Located at the center of the scenic area, the Golden Ceremonial Hall is 38 meters high, 86 meters deep, 62 meters wide, and covers an area of 8,000 square meters, with an overall square layout. The main hall is octagonal, and the interior walls are adorned with hand-painted art, the columns inlaid with cloisonné tiles, and decorated with exquisite patterns — all of which showcase the artisans’ fine craftsmanship and deliver a profound spiritual impact.

Catering Center

The Catering Center of Ningxia Chuan Folk Culture Park features a two-story hall with a buffet restaurant that can accommodate 200 diners, and 11 private rooms of various styles surrounding the waterside pavilion, offering an elegant dining environment. The signature feasts at the Catering Center consist of Ningxia-style specialties and local dishes. Savor the delights of the “garden in the north” such as hand-grabbed lamb, whole roasted lamb, as well as delicate and affordable local snacks like sheep offal stew, cold noodles with gluten, noodle soup with dumplings, flatbread, crushed wheat delicacies, and cold bean jelly — all are essential joys for your travel experience.

Folk Village

Stroll along the circular lake path into the Folk Village to watch performances by art troupes, enjoy traditional Hua’er folk songs, banquet melodies, and dances; admire the unique handicrafts in rural courtyards, learn to make and play various instruments of Ningxia’s intangible cultural heritage, and revel in the joy and delight brought by authentic rural culture.

Najia Ancient Street

By Car: 1. Take the Yongning Exit on G6 Beijing–Lhasa Expressway in Yinchuan, then go east 300 meters

2. At the intersection of National Highway G109 and Yongning County Yingbin Avenue, go west 800 meters
