The Shima Bay Rock Carvings are a cultural heritage protection unit of the Ningxia Autonomous Region.

The Shima Bay Rock Carvings are located in Jijigou, Shikong Town, Zhongning County, Zhongwei City, and date back to the Neolithic Age to the Western Xia Dynasty.

On September 15, 2005, the Shima Bay Rock Carvings were designated as part of the third batch of Autonomous Region-level cultural heritage protection units.

Shikong Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Zhongning County. Established as Guandi Township in 1955, renamed Guandi Commune in 1961, briefly changed to Fandi Commune, then reverted to its original name in 1983, and became Shikong Town in 1986. It is located in the northern part of the county, facing the county seat across the river. It is 8 kilometers from the county government. Covering an area of 2 square kilometers, it has a population of 21,000. The Baotou–Lanzhou Railway passes through the town and includes a station here. National Highway 109 intersects with Yingyong Highway within the town, and a highway bridge spans the Yellow River.
