The Haiyuan Mountain Viewing Platform, located one kilometer north of Qingshizui Town in Menyuan County, Qinghai Province, is the best spot to admire the Hundred-Mile Flower Sea of Menyuan.

The Menyuan Basin feels like spring in summer. In golden July, during the rapeseed flowering season, beekeepers from all over the country flock here to follow the blooms and make honey. Beehives line the fields and roadsides, while bees buzz busily among the flowers, and light amber honey flows as beekeepers work their centrifuges. July in the Haomen Plain is an ocean of flowers, as well as an ocean of song and dance. Each year, the county hosts a grand and lively Rapeseed Flower Festival, using the blossoms as a medium to celebrate culture and commerce together.

Qingshizui Town: Qingshizui Town is located in the southwestern part of the county, 20 kilometers from the county seat. It has a population of 12,000, predominantly Hui (50% of the total), along with Han, Mongolian, Tu, and other ethnic groups. The town covers an area of 278 square kilometers and governs ten village committees: Hongshanzui, Hongyaha, Qingshizui, Heishitou, Shangdiaogou, Xiadiaogou, Deqingying, Shangtiemai, Gadatan, and Shitougou.
