Qilisi Medicinal Spring is situated at the entrance of Qilisi Gorge, southwest of Gushan Town in the central part of the county, with a daily flow of 50 tons. Certified by national authoritative mineral water organizations, the spring is classified as a composite natural drinking mineral water containing strontium, metasilicic acid, and carbonic acid, along with more than 40 types of trace elements beneficial to health. It has been proven particularly effective in treating a range of ailments, including gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and skin conditions. The spring has a long history and is revered by locals as “holy water,” attracting numerous visitors who come specifically to drink from it. Surrounded by overlapping peaks, lush trees, striking landscapes, and fresh air, the area offers a refreshing and tranquil experience, making it an ideal destination for summer retreats, vacationing, and health recuperation. Every year on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month, the traditional “Hua’er” Festival is held here. During the festival, the site is bustling with visitors, and singers from various ethnic groups gather to perform, filling the air with the vibrant sounds of “Hua’er” music, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
