The Ancient City of Huzhu County is a cultural tourism attraction.

The scenic area integrates agricultural sightseeing, Tu ethnic group singing and dancing, traditional Tu costumes, Tu folk songs (Hua'er), the Wheel of Autumn (Lunziqiu) performance, and Tu wedding customs, making it a typical and concentrated cultural village showcasing Tu ethnic folklore. The area is widely known for the unique cultural traditions, customs, lifestyle, as well as the simplicity, kindness, and hospitality of the Tu people. The Tu ethnic folklore has become one of the most attractive ethnic cultural tourism resources in Qinghai Province.

The Tu people have their own language and are known for their love of singing and dancing. Tu girls are particularly skilled in embroidery, with the Pan embroidery technique being unique in the world. The Tu people have their own festival—the Nadun Festival. During the festival, Tu people dress in their finest clothes, perform the "Anzhao Dance," spin on the "Wheel of Autumn," hold horse races, and sing Hua'er songs. Additionally, Tu dwellings and customs surrounding marriage and funerals are distinctive. The Tu wedding ceremony is especially interesting, as the entire event takes place amid singing and dancing. The Tu traditional costumes, adorned with vibrant colors, are extraordinarily colorful and beautiful.
