Huzhu Tu Nationality Homeland Park is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Huzhu Tu Nationality Homeland Park scenic area is situated in Weiyuan Town, Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, 31 kilometers from Xining, the provincial capital of Qinghai. It has a total planned area of 6.81 square kilometers, including a core tourist zone of 3.25 square kilometers. The scenic area encompasses five core attractions: Tianyoude Chinese Highland Barley Wine Origin, Rainbow Tribe Tu Nationality Park, Nathon Manor, Western Tu Nationality Folk Culture Village, and Xiaozhuang Tu Nationality Folk Culture Village. These sites collectively showcase the vibrant folk culture of the Tu people, the long-standing highland barley wine culture, the richly aromatic Minglou liquor culture, the ancient and genuine architectural culture, the distinctive residential culture, and the simple yet mysterious religious culture. It is the world’s most comprehensive, authentic, and genuine thematic destination centered on “Tu Nationality Culture,” integrating sightseeing, leisure vacationing, folk experience, and religious pilgrimage. It has become the top choice for domestic and international tourists seeking to explore the Tu people’s traditional culture.

In 2001, it was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. In 2013, the Huzhu Tu Nationality Homeland Park officially initiated the creation process for a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. In 2014, it successfully passed the national tourism administration’s scenic landscape value evaluation and was included in the list for AAAAA-level development.

On February 25, 2017, it was newly promoted to a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
