Nanzhai Site of Yuanping

The Nanzhai Site of Yuanping is a cultural heritage protection site of Yuanping City.

The Nanzhai Site is located on a terrace on the southern bank of the Tong River, about 20 meters north of Shangzhuang Sancun in Dongshe Town, Yuanping City. It stretches approximately 200 meters from east to west and 100 meters from north to south, covering an area of about 20,000 square meters. Surface finds include earthenware fragments from the Shang Dynasty and earthenware from the Eastern Zhou period. Shangzhuang Sancun: Shangzhuang Sancun is situated in a hilly area, located 20 kilometers due east of the city proper, with geographical coordinates: 38°42′N, 112°54′E.
