Dongyeyuan Grand Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Yuanping City.

Dongyeyuan Grand Temple is located in Dongyeyuan Village, Daniudian Town, Yuanping City. According to inscriptions on the beams of the main hall, it was built in the sixth year of the Kangxi reign during the Qing Dynasty (1667). Facing south and situated on a north-south axis, the temple measures 22.4 meters in length from east to west and 32.7 meters in width from north to south, covering an area of approximately 732.5 square meters. It features a two-courtyard layout, though only the main hall remains. The main hall is three bays wide and four rafters deep, with a single-eave suspended gable roof, bracket sets only on the columns, and carved details on the beams. The front porch also retains remnants of decorated arches. The village has a population of 1,035 people and 2,600 mu of arable land, all of which are paddy fields. The main agricultural crop is corn. In 2009, the village’s total economic income reached 9.59 million yuan, with a per capita income of 4,879 yuan. Currently, cement roads run through the entire village and lead directly outside, ensuring convenient transportation.
