Xisongzhang Guan Yu Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Yuanping City.

Xisongzhang Guan Yu Temple is located in Xisongzhang Village, Sulongkou Town, Yuanping City. It faces west with its back to the east, measuring 24 meters in length from east to west and 22.8 meters in width from north to south, covering an area of 547.2 square meters. The exact date of its initial construction is unknown. According to inscriptions on the beams, it was renovated in the 3rd year of the Qianlong reign (1738), the 54th year of the Qianlong reign (1789), and the 12th year of the Guangxu reign (1886), with the current structure exhibiting architectural styles from the Qing Dynasty. The temple follows a single-courtyard layout, with its central axis featuring a mountain gate and the main hall. On the east and west sides are the Dragon King Hall, the God of Wealth Hall, and the bell and drum towers. The Guan Yu Hall is built on a stone platform, with a width of three bays and a depth of four rafters. It has a single-eave hanging hip roof and a front porch. Inside the hall, there are murals depicting stories from the Three Kingdoms, covering an area of approximately 8 square meters.

Xisongzhang Village: Xisongzhang Village is located 35 kilometers northeast of Yuanping City. It borders Dongsongzhang Village to the east and Sulongkou Village to the west. To the south, it lies against the hills extending from Zijingshan (part of the Wutai Mountain Range). To the north, it faces the Hutuo River, across which lies Banbanzheng Village. The village’s terrain is characterized by a slope formed by eight gullies and seven ridges backed by southern hills, while the areas to the east, west, and north of the village consist of flat land. A road, the Sumu Highway, runs east–west through the north of the village, leading directly to Dai County, providing very convenient transportation.

The village currently has 240 households with a resident population of 750 people, and a total of 2,567 mu of arable land, including 818 mu of sloped and gully fields and 1,749 mu of irrigated fields. The soil... Xisongzhang Village detailed information++
