Shijagang Jade Emperor Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Yuanping City.

Shijagang Jade Emperor Temple is located in Shijagang Village, Zhongyang Township, Yuanping City. It faces south and measures 31.4 meters from north to south and 18.4 meters from east to west, covering an area of 672 square meters. The exact date of its establishment is unknown. According to the stone steles preserved in the temple, it underwent renovations in the 60th year of the Kangxi reign (1721), the 60th year of the Qianlong reign (1795), the 8th year of the Xianfeng reign (1858), and the 24th year of the Guangxu reign (1898). The existing structures are in the Qing Dynasty architectural style. Along the central axis of the temple are a memorial archway, the mountain gate, and the Jade Emperor Hall, flanked by side halls, a stele pavilion, and bell and drum towers. Outside the mountain gate stands a pair of stone lions from the 6th year of the Tongzhi reign (1867). The Jade Emperor Hall is built on a stone platform foundation, with a width of three bays, a depth of five rafters, and a six-rafter front porch structure, featuring a single-eave gable-and-hip roof. There is also an ancient cypress tree within the temple grounds.

Shijagang Village: Located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Yuanping City, Shijagang Village in Zhongyang Township covers a total area of 2.5 square kilometers and lies within the loess hilly region. The climate is temperate continental, with distinct seasons, a frost-free period of about 180 days, and an annual precipitation of around 450 mm. The area enjoys abundant sunshine throughout the year, making it suitable for fruit cultivation. The village has 194 households and a population of 632, with 3,300 mu of arable land, all of which are dry slope fields. The main crops are corn, millet, broomcorn, and foxtail millet, supplemented by the planting of both dried and fresh fruits. The per capita net income is 2,022 yuan.
