Luxi Huangcaozhou National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Luxi Huangcaozhou National Wetland Park in Yunnan is situated in the southern part of Zhongshu Town, Luxi County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The wetland park spans from Longtan in Baxin in the north to the urban planning road south of Huangcaozhou Village in the south, and from Wenbishan Mountain in the west to Buyishan Mountain in the east. Its geographical coordinates are 103°45′06″–103°47′33″ east longitude and 24°32′55″–24°29′38″ north latitude, with a planned total area of 309.16 hectares.

The Huangcaozhou Wetland is a typical karst wetland in the karst region of the southeastern Yunnan Plateau. It forms a composite wetland ecosystem composed of karst swamps, karst lakes, rivers, and forests on karst residual hills, all fed by karst springs. The ecosystem is relatively well-preserved and serves as a representative example of karst wetlands in highland karst regions. Luxi Huangcaozhou National Wetland Park in Yunnan focuses on the emergency protection of karst wetlands in highland karst areas, with an emphasis on safeguarding urban fringe ecological wetlands, wetland birds, and their habitats. It highlights the distinctive landscape of karst wetlands fed by karst springs in the southeastern Yunnan Plateau. The park integrates ecosystem protection and restoration, biodiversity conservation, scientific research and monitoring, public education, eco-tourism, and wetland cultural experiences.
