Pu'er Traditional Houses Pu'er Traditional Houses are located in Xinmeng Village, Mengla Township, Jinping County, divided into Upper, Middle, and Lower villages. The residents are of the Dai ethnic group, and the architecture features typical stilt-style bamboo, wood, and thatch structures. Both the Middle and Lower villages have temples built entirely from bamboo and wood. The nearly 200 households across the three villages form a settlement nestled against the mountains and beside the water. In the Upper village, there is a natural hot spring right next to the community. The stilt-style buildings in Pu'er Village are among the best-preserved ethnic villages in Yunnan.
