Daban Shui National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Daban Shui National Forest Park is located in the northwestern suburbs of Zunyi, a historic and cultural city, and is an important part of the Lou Mountain Pass Scenic Area in Guizhou Province as well as a key region for tourism development. The park is just 27 km from the city center and covers an area of 3,132 hectares. The highest peak in Daban Shui National Forest Park is Baiyun Platform, with an elevation of 1,722 m, while the lowest is the dam site of Manay Rock Reservoir at 915 m. The mountain features a relative elevation difference of 807 m and boasts diverse landforms.

The natural landscape resources of Daban Shui National Forest Park include ten types: majestic peaks, stone forests, karst caves, rare flora and fauna, mountain streams, waterfalls, hot springs, reservoirs, and celestial phenomena. The cultural landscape resources comprise seven types: large temple complexes, ancient mountain ruins, Tusi relics, Long March relics, Miao ethnic culture, pastoral scenery, and folk legends. In total, there are 17 types of landscapes and 68 scenic spots. With such a rich variety of landscape types, a large number of scenic spots, and high-quality landscape combinations, this is relatively rare among forest parks. It is one of the Guizhou forest parks with the most diverse landscape types.

Daban Shui National Forest Park features high mountains and dense forests, with vast stretches of woodland. The forest coverage rate reaches 90.2%. Within the park lies a contiguous 2,507.5-hectare area of natural secondary evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest—the largest and best-preserved of its kind in northern Guizhou. The forest landscape is beautiful, lush, and full of wild charm, refreshing both the mind and body. Additionally, the area boasts majestic peaks, unique stone forests, magical karst caves, clear mountain streams, and graceful waterfalls, all contributing to its stunning natural beauty.

The park's remnants of ancient mountain fortresses and numerous Tusi relics add historical depth to the scenic area. The simple and traditional Miao villages bring a rich ethnic cultural flavor to the park. The diversity of cultural landscapes is captivating.
