Deng Ping's Tomb

Deng Ping's Tomb is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Deng Ping's Tomb is located on a small hillside to the north of the memorial monument in the Red Army Mountain Martyrs' Cemetery in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It has a total width of 32.55 meters and is inscribed as the "Tomb of Martyr Deng Ping," housing the remains of Martyr Deng Ping.

To commemorate the Red Army martyrs who fell during the Battle of Zunyi, Comrade Deng Ping, then Chief of Staff of the Third Red Army Corps, carried forward the excellent character and lofty spirit of revolutionary forebears. In 1957, under the personal attention of the Central Military Commission and Comrade Peng Dehuai, and through the efforts of government departments and people from all walks of life, the remains of Martyr Deng Ping were located. Construction of Deng Ping’s Tomb began in 1958 and was completed in 1959.

On October 15, 1986, the State Council approved the Zunyi Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery as a National Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit. On October 7, 2019, it was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
