Liancun Site

The Liancun Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Fenxi County.

The Liancun Site is located in Liancun, Yong’an Town, Fenxi County. It dates back to the Neolithic Age and the Han Dynasty, and is classified as an ancient site.

Covering an approximate area of 30,000 square meters, it represents cultural remains from the Han Dynasty. Cultural layers are exposed on the western cliff, with a thickness of 0.5–1 meter. Artifacts collected include fragments of gray pottery jars, plates, and bowls made of fine clay.

The Liancun Site is a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Protection Area: The boundary is defined by the site itself, extending 100 meters outward to the west and north, and 140 meters outward to the east. Regarding the Song Dynasty tomb in Liancun, the boundary extends 100 meters southward from the tomb site itself, measuring approximately 764 meters from north to south and 457 meters from east to west, covering an area of 343,883 square meters. Construction Control Zone: Extending 200 meters outward from the protection area boundary in all directions (east, south, west, and north), it measures approximately 1,179 meters from north to south and 868 meters from east to west, covering an area of 1,006,941 square meters.
