Baichehe Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Baichehe Scenic Area is located in the southeastern part of Shuicheng County, 15 kilometers from the city center, with a planned area of 37.12 square kilometers and a core area of 9.02 square kilometers. It is an urban-rural new district and a health-oriented eco-tourism destination primarily focused on residential living, commerce, parks, sports, and leisure vacations.

Ten miles with nine bends—Baichehe. The Baichehe region enjoys a pleasant climate, fertile land, and abundant water sources, making it suitable for farming. Due to irrigation needs, people built numerous waterwheels along both banks of the river to draw water ashore, hence the name "Baichehe" (Hundred Waterwheels River).

Thriving because of the water, beautiful thanks to the water, and flourishing owing to the water. The scenic area takes the river as its axis: the right bank features elements such as a hot spring park, modern onsen houses, a five-star hotel, commercial streets, and distinctive local residences, creating a modern and fashionable landmark; the left bank incorporates features like a traditional ancient-style town pedestrian street, pastoral scenery, mountainous ethnic villages, and riverside art landscapes, carrying memories and nostalgia for rural life.
