Liangfeng Cave

The water outlet of Biyun Cave is Fengdong River, located about 6 kilometers southwest of the ancient city of Panxian. On the mountaintop to its northwest, there is a large cave hidden among bushes. In the height of summer, standing at the cave entrance, you can feel a cool breeze blowing, instantly dispelling the heat—hence the name “Liangfeng Cave.” The cave stretches over 1,000 meters and contains more than ten chambers, with rich and uniquely shaped cave formations that resemble those of the famous Zhijindong Cave. Stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, and draperies display a dazzling array of forms and colors, earning it the title “underground palace” from cave experts.
