Xuejiazhuang Chastity Archway

The Xuejiazhuang Chastity Archway is a cultural heritage protection unit of Fenxi County.

The Xuejiazhuang Chastity Archway is located in Xuejiazhuang Village, Sengnian Town, Fenxi County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

It faces south and is situated to the north, measuring 3.38 meters in east-west length and 1.89 meters in north-south width, covering an area of 4.2 square meters. Made of sandstone, it features two pillars and one story.

The Xuejiazhuang Chastity Archway is a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Protected area: (Due to its proximity to nine other sites including the Xuejiazhuang Filial Piety Shrine, these are jointly designated.) The boundary is defined by the cultural heritage site of the Xuejiazhuang Iron Smelting Kiln to the north, extending 100 meters outward; to the east, the boundary follows the cultural heritage sites of the Xuejiazhuang Iron Smelting Kiln and the Xuejiazhuang North Site, extending 100 meters outward; to the south, it follows the cultural heritage sites of the Xuejiazhuang North Site and the Xuejiazhuang Site, extending 100 meters outward; and to the west, it follows the cultural heritage site of the Xuejiazhuang Site, extending 100 meters outward. The protected area stretches approximately 654 meters from north to south and 994 meters from east to west, covering an area of 597,807 square meters. Construction control zone: Extending 200 meters outward from the protected area boundary in all directions—east, south, west, and north—the zone spans approximately 1,052 meters from north to south and 1,404 meters from east to west, covering an area of 1,346,751 square meters.
