Xuejiazhuang Guandi Temple

Xuejiazhuang Guandi Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Fenxi County.

Xuejiazhuang Guandi Temple is located in Xuejiazhuang Village, Sengnian Town, Fenxi County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

The temple faces south and features a single-courtyard layout, covering an area of 816.5 square meters. Along the central axis are a theater stage and the main hall, flanked by east and west side halls, east and west wing rooms (one brick kiln each), a west kiln (four openings), and a south kiln (one opening). The temple gate is situated in the southeastern part of the temple courtyard, and there is a secondary gate in the southeast corner of the courtyard.

Xuejiazhuang Guandi Temple is a county-level cultural heritage protection unit.

Protective boundary: (As it is located close to nine other sites including the Xuejiazhuang Filial Piety Shrine, the boundaries are designated collectively.) The boundary is defined by the physical remains of the Xuejiazhuang iron smelting kiln site, extending 100 meters northward. To the east, the boundary follows the remains of the Xuejiazhuang iron smelting kiln site and the Xuejiazhuang North Site, extending 100 meters outward. To the south, the boundary is based on the remains of the Xuejiazhuang North Site and the Xuejiazhuang Site, extending 100 meters outward. To the west, the boundary follows the remains of the Xuejiazhuang Site, extending 100 meters outward. The protected area stretches approximately 654 meters from north to south and 994 meters from east to west, covering a total area of 597,807 square meters. The construction control zone extends 200 meters outward from the protective boundary in all directions—east, south, west, and north—spanning about 1,052 meters from north to south and 1,404 meters from east to west, with a total area of 1,346,751 square meters.
