Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard

The Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard is a cultural heritage protection site of Fenxi County.

The Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard (including the Zhang Xiangyun Courtyard, the Jishan’s Home Courtyard, and the Zhang Family Courtyard) is located in Niuwa Village, Heping Town, Fenxi County. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

It covers an area of 7,000 square meters and includes the Zhang Xiangyun Courtyard, the Jishan’s Home Courtyard, and the Zhang Family Courtyard.

The Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard is a county-level cultural heritage protection site.

Protection zone: To the north, it extends 20 meters outward from the outer wall of Cultural Relic No. 4 of the Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard to the southern edge of the road; to the east, it extends 20 meters outward from the outer wall of Cultural Relic No. 2 of the Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard; to the south, it extends 20 meters outward from the outer wall of Cultural Relic No. 2 of the Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard to the southern edge of the road and the exterior walls of houses, and also 20 meters outward to the southern edge of the road and house walls; to the west, it extends 5 meters outward from the outer wall of Cultural Relic No. 1 of the Niuwa Village Zhang Family Courtyard to the western edge of the road. The zone is approximately 137 meters in the north-south direction and 182 meters in the east-west direction, covering a total area of 18,239 square meters. Construction control area: Bounded by the protection zone, it extends 100 meters northward to the northern edge of the road, and 100 meters outward in the east, south, and west directions. It is approximately 232 meters in the north-south direction and 352 meters in the east-west direction, covering a total area of 87,046 square meters.
