Xingyi Airport is located 5 kilometers from downtown Xingyi and is set against the backdrop of beautiful mountains and unique peaks, earning it the title of "the first scenic view in southwestern Guizhou." The airport is planned as a 4C-level facility, with the current phase built to 3C standards. It can accommodate B737-300 and smaller aircraft for self-taxiing in and out and parking. The runway is 2,300 meters long and 45 meters wide, with 1.5-meter-wide shoulders on both sides. The construction includes a 1,300-square-meter air traffic control building and a 3,000-square-meter terminal. The airport's operation has established a comprehensive transportation network in southwestern Guizhou, integrating railways, highways, air, and waterways. The efficient air route meets passengers' needs for comfortable and fast travel, creating favorable conditions for expanding the tourist market and developing premium travel routes. The airport’s opening brings new opportunities and builds a new platform for the major development of the Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, playing a significant role in promoting external exchanges, cooperation, and socioeconomic progress in the region.
