The Chiayi City International Wind Band Festival kicks off on the 19th with the first-ever wind ensemble battle

The 23rd Chiayi City International Wind Band Festival will begin on the 19th, featuring a major evening concert and a street parade on the 20th. Throughout the festival, there will be a total of 81 indoor and outdoor concerts, inviting renowned local and international ensembles to deliver a spectacular wind music experience.

This edition of the Chiayi City International Wind Band Festival is themed“Metamorphosis”Continuing traditional marching band performances and formation changes, it also introduces the first-ever indoor wind ensemble competition, where international judges will conduct online selections, leading to the final round at the Chiayi City Concert Hall from December 24 to 26. Through this international wind festival, it also expands global musical exchange and builds the image of a “humanistic city and capital of wind music.”
