Weishan Lake

Weishan Lake is located in Wantun Town, Yilong New Area, originating from Luoyang in Geshatun, Yuzhang Town, Yilong New Area. The reservoir was initially built in 1958 and completed in 1960, with a dam height of 15.2 meters and a corresponding storage capacity of 5 million m³. Weishan Lake Reservoir is a medium-sized water conservancy project with comprehensive functions including agricultural irrigation, flood control, urban water supply, and power generation.

Weishan Lake lacks the vibrancy of the sea, the grandeur of the Yangtze River, or the sweetness of mountain springs,

but it possesses a sense of serenity and tranquility. Weishan Lake gets its name because there are mountains within the lake.
