Xingren East Lake Park

East Lake Park is located in the eastern suburbs of Xingren County, about 2 kilometers from the county center. It was built in 1998 and opened to the public the following year. Its main attraction, Shichang Pond, consists of four interconnected natural seasonal ponds. The dam is 14 meters high and 140 meters long, connecting the four ponds. Water overflows between the 40-centimeter-spaced stepping stones of the bridge, forming four waterfalls. The total water surface area of the ponds is 0.5 square kilometers, with a water storage capacity of 400,000 cubic meters and an average depth of 4 meters, reaching up to 12 meters in the deep-water areas.

In 2006, the park added a multi-arch dam, a seven-arch bridge, a lakeside walking path, and a plaza. The park is filled with fragrant flowers, peach and plum trees lining the lake, lush greenery, and scattered farmhouses. The red walls and blue tiles of the park are reflected in the water, making it an ideal spot for leisure and cooling off.
