Lujia Beach

Lujia Beach can be reached by traveling about 1.5 kilometers north from Sandushui Bridge. It got its name because there was a ferry crossing here before liberation and many families with the surname Lu lived in the area. Legend has it that there used to be a temple (Ox King Temple) and a monastery (Immortal Buddha Temple) here, which were said to be in a place of excellent feng shui. Lujia Beach now covers an area of more than 1,800 acres, including over 600 acres of water in the lake center and over 1,200 acres of land, separated from the Jinma River by sturdy embankments. The natural scenery of Lujia Beach is beautiful, with shimmering lake surfaces, flocks of wild birds playing in the water, lush greenery all around, and bamboo and trees providing a tranquil and fresh atmosphere.
