Scenic Spot Introduction

"Flower Dance World," situated between the Taoist mountain Laojun Mountain and the famous Li Hua Stream, is an urban agriculture-themed park. The park has extensive areas of flowers, lawns, woods, and lakes, serving as a leisure and entertainment destination for local residents.

Here, flowers bloom in all four seasons—azaleas in spring, fragrant lotuses in summer, chrysanthemums across the hills in autumn, and red leaves coloring the forests in winter. There are also various artificial landscapes. If you're traveling with children, you can also join parent-child fruit-picking activities.

Operated by Sichuan Hope Agricultural Science and Technology Expo Park Co., Ltd., Flower Dance World covers an area of over 3,000 acres. Located in Xincheng County in the southern suburbs of Chengdu, just over 30 kilometers from downtown Chengdu, it is a national 4A-level tourist attraction where visitors can enjoy flowers, play by the water, and experience a low-carbon leisure vacation.

The four major themed floral displays at Flower Dance World ensure continuous blooms throughout the seasons. In spring, admire the azaleas; in summer, enjoy the fragrant lotuses; in autumn, discover the chrysanthemums covering the hills; and in winter, appreciate the red leaves tinting the forests. Flower Dance World is home to Asia’s largest centralized display of artificially cultivated azaleas, featuring over 130 varieties and more than 5 million plants. Among them, uniquely cultivated azalea displays such as azalea vases, hollow azalea pillars, azalea trees, and weeping azaleas are found nowhere else in the world. Every year in March, the "Chengdu (Flower Dance World) Azalea Festival" is grandly held, creating a spectacular floral feast. In addition to the four seasonal themed flowers, the park also cultivates vast areas of cherry blossoms, peach blossoms, pear blossoms, crabapple blossoms, tulips, hyacinths, cyclamens, camellias, magnolia, acacia, lilies, bougainvillea, jasmine, wintersweet, and red leaves—millions of flowers blooming in succession with the seasons.

If flowers are the colorful attire of Flower Dance World, then water is its lifeblood. Here, you’ll find the graceful "Mid-Mountain Canal," the thrilling "Forest Rafting," the whimsical "Drumming Fountain" and "Pearl Beach," as well as the sea of clouds atop the mountain... Flower Dance World boasts breathtaking scenery. The park features a blend of trees and shrubs, flowing waters, seasonal blooms, and rippling lakes. Dozens of picturesque spots showcase the perfect harmony of landscape and mood.

Strolling through the scenic area, surrounded by flowers and integrated with the views, feels like stepping into a beautiful painting—"Flowers dancing in the human world, humans dancing among the flowers!"

Adhering to the philosophy of "following the laws of nature," Flower Dance World follows the principles of "following the mountain, following the water, following the terrain" in its design. Development is carried out under the premise of protecting natural resources, leading the trend of low-carbon tourism. It was awarded the title of "Best Example of Global Low-Carbon Scenic Area" at the United Nations’ "Sixth Global Forum on Human Settlements."
