Though it covers just 7 acres, the layout of pear trees, rivers, small bridges, houses, and pavilions is simple yet well-planned, giving off a refreshing vibe.

If you visit when the pear trees are ripe, you’ll see branches laden with fruit, and you can also try the owner’s homemade frozen pears. Although the skin may not look appealing, take a bite and the juice bursts in your mouth, instantly relieving the summer heat and thirst. This variety, called “Crisp Crown,” is an early-ripening fragrant pear with delicate flesh, high water content, a crisp texture, and sweet flavor — the perfect “cure” for summer thirst and heat.

Besides the Crisp Crown pears, the free-range local chickens raised on the farm are another reason diners keep coming back. There are many ways to enjoy the chicken: cold dishes like home-style chicken and Sichuan pepper chicken, as well as braised chicken, stir-fried chicken giblets, and diced chicken — all delicious.
