Xinzhen Airport

Xinzhen Airport was originally built in 1928. After the start of the Pacific War, it was designated as an Allied air force base, hosting the U.S. Army Air Forces’ "Superfortress" B-29 bomber fleet. Allied bombing missions over mainland Japan departed from this airport. It made indelible historical contributions to the victory of World War II.

Currently, the Xinzhen Branch of the Civil Aviation Flight University of China is located here. It has 36 aircraft of four different models and six flight simulators for teaching and training purposes. It has become the country’s largest flight license training base with a high reputation, supplying outstanding pilots both domestically and internationally.

Transportation

1. By car: Take the Chengya Expressway and exit at Xinzhen East (Puxing), then drive straight for 9 kilometers toward downtown Xinzhen.

2. By bus: Take bus 527 from Xinzhen Passenger Transport Center and get off at the Flight Academy stop.
