The Longquan Huaguoshan Provincial Scenic Area is located in Longquanyi District, eastern suburbs of Chengdu, about 20 kilometers from Chengdu. It encompasses 11 scenic spots of various sizes, including Longquan Huashan, Longquan Lake, Baoshi Lake, Shijing Temple, the Ming Tombs of the Shu Princes at Shiling, the Northern Zhou Wenwang Stele, and the Luodai Ancient Town. Each site features unique natural and cultural landscapes, covering a total area of 43 square kilometers.

The Longquan Huaguoshan Scenic Area is situated in the Longquan Mountain area, eastern suburbs of Chengdu, approximately 20 kilometers from the city center. Almost every household here grows peaches and other fruits, filling the air with floral and fruity aromas all year round. A vast expanse of over 100,000 acres of orchards provides a rich variety of fruits, making it the largest production base of honey peaches, loquats, and grapes in Southwest China.

During the annual peach blossom season in spring, the hills are blanketed with layers of pink blossoms. Visitors can admire the peach blossoms in March, taste cherries in April, and enjoy loquats in May. Moreover, the mountain is filled with natural rustic charm and dotted with quaint farmsteads.

Visitors to Huaguoshan can feast their eyes and taste buds. There are open orchards in the scenic area—initially eight, but the number has been growing in recent years—where tourists can enter and pick fresh fruits to sample.
