The Tomb of Prince Xi of Shu from the Ming Dynasty is located at Group 8, Dalang Village, Shiling Subdistrict, Longquanyi District. Constructed in the tenth year of the Xuande reign during the Ming Dynasty, the mausoleum covers an area of nearly 50 acres, faces a bearing of 310 degrees, and consists of both above-ground structures and the burial chamber. The above-ground architecture comprises recently built imitation ancient-style buildings, including the mausoleum’s main gate, memorial archway, and hexagonal pavilion. The burial structure includes an earthen mound and an underground palace, with a total length of 53.95 meters. The earthen mound is nearly circular, with a visible diameter of approximately 15 meters and a height of 3.6 meters. The underground palace is divided into a passage, gate, and chambers. A protective shed has been erected over the passage, which is stair-stepped and about 25 meters long. The gate is built in a wood-like style, featuring bracket sets, cylindrical tiles, and a hip-and-gable roof. Outside the gate are two wing walls in a V-shape. The chamber consists of a straight barrel-vaulted passageway; the front section is 6.7 meters deep, 4.8 meters high, while the rear section is 21.8 meters deep, 5.55 meters high, and 7 meters wide. Entering the tomb, one passes successively through the gate corridor hall, corridor, front courtyard gate hall, front courtyard, middle courtyard gate hall, middle courtyard, coffin chamber gate hall, and coffin chamber. The gate halls separating the corridors and courtyards are stone structures with four pillars and three bays in imitation of wooden architecture, single-eaved, with large green glazed barrel-tiled hip-and-gable roofs. Pottery tile pipes are installed to connect drainage pipelines.

This tomb was discovered in the spring of 1979 during the expansion of Shiling Middle School. Although there were old looting holes, the burial chambers remain well-preserved, and a large number of artifacts have been unearthed, mainly various types of figurines. This tomb is the most exquisitely preserved among all discovered imperial tombs of the Ming Princes of Shu.
