Peach Blossom Hometown is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Peach Blossom Hometown is located in the Longquan Mountain Ecotourism Functional Zone on the eastern outskirts of Chengdu, known as the "World Modern Garden City." It is the core scenic area of the famous Sichuan tourist attraction — Huaguoshan (Flower and Fruit Mountain) Scenic Area, situated in Shanquan Town, Longquanyi District. In the late 1950s, during the Chengdu Conference, Deng Xiaoping was dispatched by Mao Zedong to inspect Longquan Mountain and gave the instruction to “turn Longquan Mountain into a mountain of flowers and fruit.” The construction of the Huaguoshan Scenic Area began at Peach Blossom Hometown, creating today’s picturesque landscape where “flowers bloom in every season and fruits are fragrant in every festival.”

Centered around Taoyuan Village, the former home of Jin Xitian — the first person to grow peaches on the Chengdu Plain — Peach Blossom Hometown radiates outward, covering an area of approximately 4.5 square kilometers. The scenic area is renowned nationwide for its wide variety of peach blossoms, long flowering period, and high blossom density. Every spring in March, the peach blossoms here burst into full bloom, resplendent as rosy clouds, creating a spectacular sight. The area mainly includes attractions such as the “Blessing Path,” “Love Path,” “Longevity Path,” “Ancient Post Road,” “Peach Blossom Pool,” “Ancient Post Years,” “Blooming Flowers and Full Moon,” “Heart-Linked Pavilion,” “Peach Culture Corridor,” “Riding the Dragon to View Buddha,” “Peach Blossom Stone Forest,” “Peach Culture Exhibition Hall,” “Peach Culture Poetry Wall,” and “Kuafu Square.” In the 1990s, singer Jiang Dawei performed his song *In That Place Where the Peach Blossoms Bloom* here; in 2002, Tang Can filmed *Once Again, the Peach Blossoms Are Red* here; and in 2007, Ah Niu brought his song *Peach Blossoms Blooming Everywhere* to the site, all contributing to the widespread fame of Peach Blossom Hometown.

Taoyuan Village in Shanquan Town is located at the 26-kilometer mark of the old Chengdu-Chongqing Highway.
