Tomb of Prince Yi of Shu, Ming Dynasty

The Tomb of Prince Yi of Shu, Ming Dynasty, is located in Group 12, Swan Lake Village, Damian Subdistrict, Longquanyi District. The tomb complex covers a large area, with an earthen mound at the top, and the cemetery spans approximately 800 square meters. No above-ground structures remain, and the internal structure of the tomb chamber is unknown. During the 1987 cultural relics survey in Longquanyi District, it was discovered that the tomb had naturally collapsed years earlier and that people had entered it. According to the investigation, the interior was quite spacious, with a stone stele standing inside. Faint inscriptions were remembered, including phrases such as “Prince Youyan and his fifth son were enfeoffed as the Prince of Wenchuan.......” and so on. The large collapsed hole was later filled in. The "Ming History: Table of Princes" and the "Huayang County Annals" record that in the fourth year of the Tianshun era (1460), the fifth son of Prince He of Shu, Yueshao—named Youyan—was enfeoffed as the Prince of Wenchuan. He died in the ninth year of the Chenghua era (1473) and was posthumously awarded the title “Yi Jian” (Cultured and Simple). He was laid to rest on the plain of Lingxi Mountain, twenty-five li southeast of the seat of Huayang County in Chengdu Prefecture—now commonly known as Huangfenling in Damian Town, Longquanyi District. Because the front arch of the tomb had once collapsed, it was locally referred to as “Collapsed Imperial Tomb”. This site is an important component of the Ming-era princely tombs of the Shu Kingdom and now has a protective marker installed.

Swan Lake Village: Swan Lake Village was formed through the integration of the former Feie Village and Xinjian Village. It is located between the old Chengyu Road and Chenglong Road, with the Ring Road passing through it. The village has Jinqi Avenue and village cement roads.
