The Tomb of Zhao, Consort of the Shu King of the Ming Dynasty is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Tomb of Zhao, Consort of the Shu King of the Ming Dynasty is located in Group 8, Daliang Village, Shiling Subdistrict, Longquanyi District. In 1978, local villagers discovered a brick-chambered, vaulted tomb while digging an irrigation canal, which was subsequently excavated and cleared by the Chengdu Cultural Relics Management Office.

The tomb is a brick-chambered structure with a vaulted ceiling, facing south, with a total depth of 13 meters and an internal width of over 3 meters. It consists of, in order, a corridor, an octagonal wall, an entrance hall, a central hall, and a coffin chamber, along with a terracotta tile drainage pipe system. A funerary epitaph stele was unearthed inside the tomb chamber, standing 1.07 meters tall and 0.61 meters wide. Its top is adorned with carved phoenix patterns on both sides, and the inscription in intaglio seal script reads “Epitaph of Lady Zhao, Consort of the King of Luojiang,” documenting details about Lady Zhao. Few artifacts were unearthed and are now housed in the Chengdu Museum. The tomb was backfilled shortly after excavation. This tomb is an important part of the Ming Shu Princely Tombs complex and provides valuable physical evidence for the study of Sichuan’s history during the Ming Dynasty, as well as imperial burial customs and mausoleum architecture.
