Qionglai Zhenjiang Pagoda

Located 3 km southeast of Qionglai City in Chengdu, the Zhenjiang Pagoda is the tallest ancient pagoda in Chengdu and also the highest surviving feng shui pagoda in China. This magnificent 75.48-meter-tall ancient structure stands on a sandbank in the middle of the Nanhe River. Having withstood countless challenges from wind, floods, and earthquakes, it remains standing to this day and serves as a rare physical relic for studying ancient architectural history and high-rise structures. The Zhenjiang Pagoda is suitable for climbing all year round, but spring is the best season due to its location on a sandbar in the Nanhe River in Qionglai City — watching the clear river water flow by is truly refreshing.

How to Get There

Take a bus from Chengdu Jinsha Bus Station to Qionglai City (via the highway). Buses are also available from Chengdu Shiyangchang Bus Station (not via the highway). The fare is about 18 RMB.
