Era: Ming and Qing Dynasties

The Tiantai Mountain Stone Archway and Screen Wall are located in Maping Village, Tiantai Mountain Town. The stone archway is a three-bay, four-pillar, double-eaved, bracket-set wooden-style structure made of red sandstone. The front and back of the archway’s plaque are inscribed with “Splendid Scenery of Snow Nest” and “First Chan Forest” respectively. The stone archway features exquisite carvings, including figures, animals, flowers, and decorative patterns, while the screen wall features a vivid relief carving of a qilin (mythical Chinese unicorn) at its center.

In 2019, the Tiantai Mountain Stone Archway and Screen Wall were designated as part of the ninth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Sichuan Province.

The village committee is 50 km from downtown Qionglai and 10 km from the town government seat. The village has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups, with a total of 365 households and 1,230 residents, of which 660 are of working age, and 352 are migrant workers.
