Gaersi Mountain is a cultural tourism attraction.

The summit of Gaersi Mountain serves as a natural barrier between Kangding County and Yajiang County. Passing through Xinduqiao and heading toward Daocheng Yading, you’ll cross Gaersi Mountain, which sits at an elevation of 4,412 meters. As this section is part of the famous Sichuan–Tibet Highway (Southern Route), you’ll encounter many trucks en route to Tibet. The early stretch of the road is flanked by lush vegetation and shaded by trees. After ascending past the mountainside, the summit appears to be entirely covered in alpine meadows.
