Hanjiang Ancient City Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Hanjiang Ancient City Scenic Area is the political, economic, cultural, and commercial hub of Lushan County. It is a provincial-level historical and cultural city and known as the “Hometown of Han Dynasty Relics.” It also serves as an important node on the Xiao Xi Ring Road and a key part of the western section of the Xiling Snow Mountain–Qingcheng Mountain tourism corridor. The area is 31 kilometers from Ya’an and 156 kilometers from Chengdu. The scenic area boasts a long history and rich cultural heritage, where various cultures such as ancient Qiang culture, Shu Han Three Kingdoms culture, ebony root carving culture, religious culture, patriotic culture, and folk culture blend harmoniously. It is abundant in hydropower and animal resources, and features a wide variety of plant species. After the devastating “4•20” Lushan earthquake, the scenic area initiated a post-disaster reconstruction plan. Through this reconstruction, it has been developed into a core destination for all-for-one tourism, a tourism support center, and a transit hub along the Xiao Xi Ring Road.
