Miyaluo Jiarong Ethnic Culture Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Miyaluo is situated in the Zagunao River Valley, a tributary of the Minjiang River, within Li County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 263 kilometers from Chengdu. The entire scenic area spans 127 kilometers from east to west and 29 kilometers from north to south, covering an area of 3,688 square kilometers. The Miyaluo scenic area boasts a pleasant climate with notable highland features. The average winter temperature is minus 3 degrees Celsius, while the average temperatures in July and August are around 15 degrees Celsius. The magnificent golden autumn foliage, the enchanting culture of the Tibetan and Qiang ethnic minorities, the refreshing and soothing ancient Guergou Hot Springs, and the majestic snow-capped peaks together form an incredibly beautiful and colorful hundred-mile gallery. With 3,300 valleys and 3,300 ridges, every valley features red leaves, melting snow, and natural springs. Snow mountains, hot springs, forests, red foliage, and Tibetan-Qiang culture create a dreamlike corridor, earning it the reputation of “Three Thousand Li of Red Leaves, Three Thousand Li of Emotion.”

Honors: The Miyaluo scenic area is more than 180 times larger than Beijing’s Fragrant Hills Red Leaf Scenic Area, making it one of China’s largest and most spectacular discovered and opened red leaf viewing areas. In January 1995, it was approved as a provincial-level scenic spot by the People's Government of Sichuan Province. In 1998, the Miyaluo scenic area was included in China’s National Human-Nature Reserve Circle.
